GrowGeneration Supply Chain Management and Ethical Sourcing

GrowGeneration supports the goals of the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act of 2010 (SB657) and strives to be an example of good human rights and labor practices throughout our business activities.  In an effort to enhance these activities, we have adopted a structured approach to ensuring that our chain of supply is kept free of products being produced in an unethical, unlawful, or unsustainable manner.

GrowGeneration’s actions in this area include the following:

1. Product Supply Chains / Suppliers
GrowGeneration commits to fostering responsible practices in our supply chain. The GrowGeneration Supplier Code of Conduct (“GSCC”), which is accepted by our suppliers, helps to implement this commitment and establishes non-negotiable minimum standards for GrowGeneration suppliers in the areas of Health and Safety, Labor Standards, Business Integrity, and the Environment.

2.  Certification and Supplier Internal Accountability
Suppliers are contractually required to certify that the products they supply to GrowGeneration were produced in compliance with the GSCC. Purchase order acceptance and performance are predicated upon supplier compliance with these guidelines.  Per the GSCC, Suppliers are also required to inform their employees and subcontractors of the content of this guideline and ensure compliance to the policies therein.

3. Supplier Audits
GrowGeneration reserves the right to verify our Supplier’s compliance with the GSCC.  GrowGeneration employees conduct sourcing audits and inspections prior to the Suppliers introduction to GrowGenerations chain of supply.

In the event that GrowGeneration becomes aware of any actions or conditions not in compliance with the GSCC, GrowGeneration reserves the right to demand corrective measures and to terminate an agreement with any supplier who does not comply with the GSCC.

4. Employee Training
GrowGeneration employees with direct responsibility for supply chain management receive mandatory training on the HTCC, the content and purpose of the California Transparency in Supply Chain Act, and on mitigating risks associated with human trafficking and slavery within the product supply chain of GrowGeneration.
